Sturgeon Point Lighthouse near Harrisville Michigan
Sturgeon point lighthouse is located in Sturgeon Point State Park and is the only Cape cod style lighthouse in Michigan. Grand Traverse lighthouse, Northport Michigan

Fort Wilkins Historical St. Park, Copper Harbor MI
At Fort Wilkins you get two historic lighthouses from the 1860s plus an expansive view of Lake Superior from a rocky shoreline and nearby sandy beach. Holland lighthouse, Holland Michigan
The lighthouse known as Big Red sits at the base of south pier at Holland State Park, the original building was elected in 1870, soon after the settlement of Holland was established. where Lake Macatawa flows into Lake Michigan. Call here for info.

Grand Haven Lighthouse, Grand Haven Michigan
Grand Haven light was first built in 1838 soon after the town was settled. Replaced and relocated several times and is now taken care of by the Grand Haven Lighthouse Conservancy. The lighthouses are at the end of a 500+ft Pier. The fascinating story can be read here. You might even see a meteor if you’re lucky.

Whitefish Point lighthouse, Whitefish Point MI
For many years Whitefish Point was considered the most important lighthouse on Lake Superior as it’s on the route freighters take to the Sault St. Marie Locks and the lower lakes in route from Minnesota. The lighthouse is now owned by the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. Call for info here.

Au Sable Point Lighthouse, Big Sable Point Michigan Built in 1874, the Au Sable Point Lighthouse serves as a beacon between Whitefish Point and Grand Island lights.
