Baraga State Park, Baraga Michigan

Yankee Springs Recreation Area, Middleville Michigan
At Yankee Springs the options are almost endless. At over 5000 acres the park has mountain biking, hiking, kayaking and whatever else might fit a great summer vacation. (Please be aware that certain sections of the area are open to hunting during the season)

Lakeport State Park, Lakeport Michigan
Lakeport state park has two basic units separated by the town of Lakeport. There are almost 250 sites though to make any camper happy. The park is located right along Lake Huron so please feel free to bring your bathing suit. Most are modern sites with electrical hook up.

If you ever really want to really get away, try Lake Gogebic State Park. The Parks located in the far west corner of the U. P. in what would be considered heavy wilderness, yet Lake Gogebic has very modern conveniences for your camping pleasure.
Lake Gogebic State Park is located on Lake Gogebic which is the largest inland Lake in the upper peninsula.

Interlocken State Park is a half hours drive from Traverse City Michigan yet feels so different. Located between two inland Lakes, Interlochen offers conveniences for RVs and electrical hookups for most. Nationally recognized Interlocken Center for the Arts is located right nearby.

Warren Dunes State Park, Sawyer Michigan
There is almost three plus miles of sandy dunes rising up over 200 ft from Lake Michigan you’ll feel like you’re all by yourself most of the time. There’re great areas to bird watch because the park is in a migratory flyway.

Petoskey State Park, Petoskey Michigan
Petoskey State Park is located on Little Traverse Bay and looks out onto Lake Michigan. Everyone seems to love the biking trails that go right into Petoskey for restaurants or shopping. The only downside is the park can be really busy during the peak of the season.
